nobody came home after the power went out i heard the trees bend over and shout and the hairs on my neck they did stand up straight well i could have run but i wasn't fast enough

years went by with more aeroplanes in the sky but not much got worse and not much got better but the ground stayed soft all through the winter and nobody had died on account of the weather
